The Second Voyage Of Sinbad
Sinbad was stranded on an island. On this island were giant birds called Rukh (they feed elephants to their chicks). Sinbad fell into a deep valley filled with precious stones and poisonous snakes. He bounded himself to a dead animal, and waited for a giant bird to pick up the carcass and carry him out of the valley. Once out of danger, Sinbad met others merchants and shared the gems with them. Together, they travelled to a land with giant camphor trees and “Rhinoceros”.
